Maybe the most important thing when you want to copy something is that your original product is in a very good condition
Here is a flywheel cover for a TZR 250 3MA iam trying to copy for my motorcycle , this might be one piece production only because i dont think that someone has interest for a piece like this
After checking its ok i cleaned it with carb cleaner you can find at your local hardware shop ...
Then you will need to apply some polishing compound for at least 4-5 times and a last one when you are ready to start your mold procedure
You cant see the difference between the photos but its far more smoother and shiny and it only got polished twice
