The last few days iam working on a exhaust guard for the yamaha xt600 ( yes i also own a 4 stroke)
Its out of the mold , a bit rough but i only want to see if it will tolerate the high temperatures of a 4stroke , if it does it will mean that the resins i use are strong enough for the exhaust shields of the TDR 250
In this part i also used kevlar reinforcement in critical places such as the mounting points
Kevlar is a very strong fabrique , i bought a roll of 10cm width and u should always cut it with a new pair of scissors that will cut only kevlar nothing else not even paper , if u use it for another purpose then the blades will not be able to cut kevlar again
Here are a couple of pics
See ya
