My instrument panel made out of foam is a bit worn out , i was thinking to make a carbon fiber one and under that to put foam
So i did ...
My panel currently looking like this
First thing you must have is a pair of tiles, their dimensions must be a bit larger than the panel you want to make
I overdid it a bit so now i can make 2 panels instead of just one but i only have one TZ!!!
Wax them 4-5 times with 40-60 minutes between layers , mijagi style !!!
Put one tile as a base and on top of that put 5 layers of carbon fiber , i used 2x2 tweel 200gr. and resin between them
When you are done place the second tile on top of the carbon sandwich and put pliers to hold them in place ,you can also use something heavy
Wait 24 hours and voila !!!!
Now it needs trimming to cut in shape and clear lacquer
