Some progress with the little dirt bike has been done

I mostly keep ordering parts from ebay but sadly most of them are from US with expensive postage

I ordered a seat cover to refresh my seat from a guy that sells seat cover replicas with free postage

 

I also bought a rear tailpiece from Thailand, very good replica that fitted straight through with no mods ,now i am in the hunt for a front mudguard among others 

I also bought a front XT600 2KF golden aloy rim to match it with the rear TDR one ,a friend of mine gave me some spokes for the rear so iam now missing only the rear hub to finish my wheels ,the idea with the golden rims came to me when i show that the original front wheel i had was broken 

 

These are the new rims after preparing the inside of them , aloy corrosion is a very often symptom of TDR and XT wheels 

 

 

This turns out to be more fun than i thought
